October 9, 2010 through March 6, 2011

The Gallery at 199 Main Street, Beacon, NY | Directions

Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries welcomes Hudson Valley photographer and mixed medium artist Russell Cusick to the Institute’s gallery located at 199 Main Street in Beacon, New York.

Hudson River Reflections, a collection of photo-acrylic panoramas from Bear Mountain Bridge to Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, extends Cusick's unique perspective and inspiration to its viewers through combined paint and photography. This process is a development which Cusick has worked to evolve over the past decade.

A classically trained operatic baritone originally from California, Cusick was awarded full scholarship to The Julliard School, and graduated from the school's renowned opera center in 1993. With the Hudson River as the central inspiration, Cusick has translated and modulated his passion for music into visual art and photography.

Cusick resides in the Hudson River Valley, owns and operates the Russell Cusick Gallery located at 474 Main Street in Beacon, NY.
