Hudson River photographer Squillante to claim new view at Institute gallery

Beacon Institute is proud to welcome the return of iconic Hudson River photographer Joseph Squillante to its gallery at 199 Main Street in Beacon, with an opening reception on Saturday, 10/12, at 5pm. Squillante, who first exhibited his work at the premiere of the gallery in 2004, will explore a new abstract perspective in his upcoming exhibit titled A Closer Look: The Hudson River.

Squillante's Hudson River photography has bred the respect of many organizations who work to preserve the integrity of the river. He has been recognized by Scenic Hudson as a "Hudson Valley Hero" and his images have inspired requests to mark milestone occasions like the American Heritage River celebration and the Quadricentennial of Henry Hudson's journey to America in 2009.
