"RiverU" 2014 offers real-world context for environmental studies on the Hudson River

The Hudson River, one of the most historically and environmentally important rivers in the U.S., is a real-world classroom for Clarkson University's "RiverU," a six-credit environmental program offered by Beacon Institute.

RiverU runs June 9 through 27, 2014 at Denning's Point in Beacon, NY.

Enrollment is now open for any college or highly motivated high school student with an interest in the environment. Learn more and apply online at RiverU.org.

RiverU, taught by Hudson River environmentalist John Cronin and respected Clarkson University faculty Dr. Tom Langen and Dr. Shane Rogers, aims to connect students with the working world of ecology, engineering and policy through extensive field work, professional networking and a three-day sail onboard the sloop Clearwater
