Senior Project Manager
Regan Coover coordinates the planning, design and construction of Beacon Institute’s physical facilities. She successfully completed the Institute’s first educational facility on Denning’s Point, the Center for Environmental Innovation and Education (CEIE). CEIE was awarded LEED® Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for its sustainability. Regan is currently planning future facilities to accommodate the Institute’s education and research programs. With years of hands-on experience in design, architecture and planning, Regan is skilled in the planning, design & construction processes. She is adept at working with diverse teams of architects, engineers, consultants, and public officials, moving them towards a common goal and facilitating smooth project completion.
Regan executes and oversees many of the Institute’s essential day-to-day activities and diverse business operations. This includes maintaining the Institute’s relationships with NYS OPRHP and other partnering organizations and state agencies. She provides support to the K-12 educational programs and plays a significant role in the Institute's Masters of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) graduate program with Clarkson University.
Prior to joining Beacon Institute, Regan worked for many years with prominent design and architecture firms on projects for the State of New York, including a visitor’s center, a public theater and judge’s chambers. She has played key roles in the design and construction of many high-end residences, and completed master plans for academic clients.
